Artist Statement
Sadie Patterson's complete compilation of work embodies an extraordinary range of styles encompassing impressionist landscapes, realistic wildlife, portraits, still lifes and abstract expressions. Her newest works, The African Watercolor Collection, are internationally known. She is expert in a variety of media including oil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal and oil pastel.
Bio
Patterson did graduate work in art at the University of California, Los Angeles. While attending UCLA, Patterson became a member of the National Delta Epsilon Art Honorary Society and the League of Allied Arts. She has studied at Otis Art Institute, Chouinard Art Institute, and worked under the tutelage of legendary artists such as Millard Sheets, Dong Kingman and Robert E. Woods.
